I hand-knit each piece in my collection without the use of looms or machines. Each stitch traverses my hands
before becoming part of a highly textured accessory or garment. My work is informed by the history of clothing and
adornments, inspired by geometric and sculptural forms, and imbued with a passion for color. I strive to conceive
and create designs that are original, have reversible stitch patterns, undulating and layered shapes, versatility,
and an element of playfulness. The way my pieces feel to the touch and next to the skin is paramount. Thus I
select my materials carefully and work almost exclusively with fine natural (including organic) fibers, such as
merino wool, cashmere, alpaca, silk, and cotton. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is seeing my
designs come to life on the wearer’s body, enveloping and embracing shoulders, neck, arms, and hands, and
draping and cascading around the torso.

Head over heels in love with designing and creating knit accessories and
clothing, I have been experimenting with textures, colors, shapes, and
drape since 2007.  Each piece in my collection is an original design,
created entirely by hand, one stitch at a time, in my one-person studio in
Westchester County, New York. I work almost exclusively with natural
materials, including merino wool, baby alpaca, silk, cashmere, and fine
cottons. New styles are added to the collection throughout each year,
and include a variety of scarves, cowls, shawls, shrugs, hats, gloves, fiber
jewelry, and other innovative pieces.  I have worked on a number of
custom commissions, including bride and bridesmaid accessories
(shawls, wraps, and more).  My designs are carried by select boutiques,
and have been featured in numerous online publications.
